Volume buttons for your player, scenes in your order, notices from Mobile MA
- Volume buttons control your player: while the Now Playing view is open, the iPhone buttons adjust the player you are looking at – groups included. Close the view and the buttons go back to the iPhone itself.
- Scenes in your order: in the scenes overview, use “…” on a tile (“Move Up”/“Move Down”) or the reorder button with drag handles to arrange scenes the way you want. Home, CarPlay, Apple TV and Apple Watch follow. The “…” tile on Home opens the overview.
- Remote access explained up front: when setting up “Away (Remote)” you now see that this path requires a Nabu Casa subscription (Home Assistant Cloud / Link), with a link to pricing and sign-up. Without it, your server stays reachable on your home network or via VPN.
- Notices from Mobile MA: when something matters – an update you need or a promotion – the app shows it as a separate message, once at most. Turn off offers and promotions under Info & Help; which notices you see is decided on your device, nothing is transmitted for that.
- Music Assistant 2.11 (beta): playlists, podcasts, folders and discographies with more than 500 entries are now requested in full – previously the list stopped at 500.
- Missing covers: when iOS blocks image requests to an http address with a host name (App Transport Security), the connection diagnostics now explain it and name the way out: IP address or HTTPS.
- CarPlay and Lock Screen: artists with a comma or “&” in their name (such as “Seger, Bob & The Silver Bullet Band”) no longer appear in front of the title.
